Sitting here, in the comfort of my own “comfort room”, I’ve been trying to do my business for the past 1 hour or so. It’s boring.. thank goodness I have a Notebook to keep me company. I happened to check my eBay account that has been left empty without anything to sell for the past..er.. 3 years or so. Hmm.. what should I auction? My graphics? Illustrations?
And then BAAAAM!! I realised, that I have always been a huge fan of art, graphics and illustrations. I think I should go back to drawing! But if I were to draw better illustrations, I’m gonna need a better pen tablet than a Wacom Graphire – which I currently have. Then I surfed the Wacom website and saw that sexy baby, Wacom Intuos 3. Woot! But it’s sooooo expensive. This one’s gonna cost me a bomb.. but I got excited all over! Yes, I should draw illustrations again and make a business out of it!
And then things started going wild in my brain. There’s this sudden rush of excitement, a wave of ideas and graphical images starts pouring in. I need to draw something. I should be an illustrator!!!!!
But..
I’m a makeup artist. Makeup is my hobby, if not passion. Besides, I’ve spent a fortune making this happen. Now I realized that I should be an illustrator instead?? O wait, if I could just find the time to do BOTH. Makeup in the morning, drawing in the night. Or vice versa. Hehehehe.. nice lah. Now I have both Wacom Intuos Pen Tablet and MAC makeup case to consider spending on. I am SO gonna end up eating grass soon.
Damnit. I shouldn’t have browsed the eBay while I’m trying to do my business. Not only I can’t stop thinking of illustrations, I still couldn’t do the it!
OK, my butt is hurting from sitting too long. I should go back to sleep before I decide to be a Prime Minister next.
*flushes*

Anyway, how come you have Wacom tablet? I never think of a makeup artist having one…

There has to be a way for both, because you are brilliant with web design and graphics and you are definitely fashionable so I’m sure you could teach me a thing or two about makeup. I say invest in the Wacom. It’s one of your other hobbies and a stress reliever. I’m sure you can work this out by eating only rice and noodles in order to pay for it right?
(rice, noodles, and bananas are what we would eat in financial crisis because all are super cheap.)

You know, I have always said the good you are at drawing and that you should make business of that. I guess this make up+graphic combination is perfect for you because they haven’t got too fixed and strict timetables to be carried out so you can enjoy the 2 things you love doing. On top of that, if someone does the same every every single day you might end up boring and fed up
so good for you! give us the eBay link once you are on over there.
BTW, how do u do business with the make up? are you going to some one’s house to make her(him?) up? just being a little bit greedy

saifulrizan : LOL, glad I made you laughed! About the Wacom tablet, well, actually I’ve had it with me since like many years ago, before I ventured into the makeup thingy. In fact, I used to love drawing graphics before which I happened to sell them online.. hehe.
erin : OK, I’ll try to give it a thought. I *might* work my way into doing BOTH and still managed to buy some food to eat. Bananas perhaps. They’re very cheap. Or I could ask my dad to send me some. He have a few banana trees on the back of his home..

How I get my clients? Err.. normally they’ll call me for makeup services. But the business I’m talking about in this post is actually about negocio en tocador. (Eh, I hope I got it right. LOL)
