Yesterday, I was at this super cute gift shop where everything is made of lace. Or at least decorated with lace. From the table cloth, to the table lamp, curtain, teddy bears.. almost everything you could ever imagine (for the home). I also like it that the shop assistant weren’t being nosy. They practically left me alone to wander and roam, from section to another. They only speak when spoken to. I like it! It’s like having the comfort to browse for gifts without having the feelings of “being followed” – like most shops do.
My main intention when I entered the shop was to check out their laced table lamps. They’re beautiful – but not as beautiful as the ones I saw on eBay, which I intended to buy someday. I’m sorry for not taking any photos of the store, but I can tell you this. It’s beautiful in there. A girl could die a happy girl inside, surrounded with beautiful decorations and items made mostly with lace.
Since it’s 3 month more to Christmas, I decided to buy some gifts for my relatives from that store. After spending a whole 2 hours in the gift store, I picked a beautiful crocheted table cloth that has this tiny roses on the edges (made with lace). I also got a jewellery holder made of, you guess it.. lace and a doll. It’s beautiful! I intended to buy my dad something too.. something like a Titleist golf maybe, since he’s into golfing. But the shop sells stuff that’s made for women only. LOL! Guess I’ll get his gift from somewhere else..
I also bought something for myself. A cute miniature. A baby’s pram.

I don’t know why but from the first look, I was instantly in love with it! Best part about the pram is the wheels are working – so if Thumbelina decides to visit me anytime soon, she could rest inside and I would push the pram around. LOL!
The pram sits beside my Notebook now.

Cindy: If you’re at Plaza Damas, head toward Kenny Rogers. The shop would be on your right side. Yeah, it’s kinda like a dream come true for a girl to be there. So many things to see, I was there for 2 hours! LOL!
Yeah hor… come to think of it, I should give it to my brother as a hint.

very cute
I don’t like it when the sales ladies follow me around either. Anyway, looks like you had better luck and more fun here than at the night market!!
Cindy: Haha, yeah. I definitely had more fun over here than the night market!
