My brother and I planned to do our Christmas shopping together early next month. Being nosy (sometimes), I asked what his budget for Christmas gift this year. He told me 3k – and I almost died. My budget was 1.5k only! LOL! I’m so ashamed.. I even mentioned that I feel so lucky to have such a small family (which consist of my daddy, mummy, him, me & my lil sister) That means, I only had to buy Christmas gifts for FOUR person every year. :-P But now that he mentioned 3k for his Christmas gift budget, I think I’m gonna have to raise mine to 2.5k at least!
Now this is when I wish I have checking accounts, like the ones offered free by WAMU.com in the USA. They have wide coverage all across USA (which makes them a favorite). Easy and convenient to apply, all you need to do is go online for the application.
And why would I need a checking account? Hehehe.. because I don’t really want to spend my credit card. For me, credit cards are only for my online shopping. Hahaha! With a checking account, I get to pay stuff with a cheque and not actually “seeing” money notes go out of my wallet (which is good) That way, I wouldn’t feel guilty on spending extra. Besides, I can have beautiful cheques designed by either me (or I can get it online). If THAT finally happen in Malaysia, then I would be one happy girl!

Don’t feel ashamed bah…cos maybe he earns much more than you so he can afford it? I think it’s the thoughts that counts, agree?

What??? 2.5K and 3K budget for X’mas presents and for 4 people only??!!! Errrrmmm…Jane ah…can I be one of your “adopted” immediate family member ka?? hehehe….
