12:35AM, I got a text message on my cellphone.

“Nt even 1 chrsms cd at hme, dady left n kudat, neither karaoke, nanti u beli 2 pun boleh, wht song u think should we sing?”

“Sing what song??” I replied.

“For d Christmas party n church.”

“We’re supposed to sing???” I asked again.

“Ya. On d 22nd.”

LOL! My family was asked to “perform” a Christmas song at the party! In such a short notice and time, I don’t think I’d manage to find a karaoke cd or a minus-one Christmas song. My shopping are not done yet, how can I squeeze this one in? But not to disappoint my mom, I decided to pick a few nice songs from my Notebook and get my brother to record the music with his guitar and other stuff. Hehehe…

I suggested him a few songs through IM earlier and his reaction was something I expected.

“Ha? I don’t think mom & dad could catch up with the tempo..”

“Aiya, not necessarily follow the EXACT way to sing it lah..”

Of course, being a former Bintang Kaamatan of Kunak *cough*, I’d be glad to sing the song the exact way, if I was to sing it alone on stage. Hahahaha.. But then again, this is a family performance: it would be awesome! Our last Christmas in Kunak. We should leave a good Christmas memory for the Kunak people. Hahaha.. I hope my brother like the song that I’ve chosen. I can’t wait to see what he’ll come up with later..

On another note, I’m thinking of baking again today. Not something complicated tho, just a simple and easy chocolate chip. Ready made too. All I need is just add butter, eggs, mix it up and bake. LOL

The packet has been sitting by the oven for over a week now. I kept it there to remind myself whenever I enter the kitchen… and only today did I noticed it. -_-” Well.. you’ll know if I really end up baking it tonight. Besides, it has been raining the whole afternoon today. Rainy season makes me lazy. Quite cold the weather is.. would be awesome if we have hot tubs at home right now..
