Homesick

I got back from Sabah last Sunday… Mom and dad packed a few food stuff for me to bring back, and I am really glad to have it with me. At least when I miss home-cooked meal, I can have those food for comfort. But truth be told, I am homesick. I really am. I miss home so much. *sob*

I was seated at the balcony of my room not too long ago, looking outside at the neighbors parking their cars. Then I looked at the plants that I just moved to the balcony last Monday. I kinda like it. And then I looked at the “bamboo windchime” my mother got for me..

As the wind blows, the bamboo produces very nice, soothing sound. It made me miss home even more. And my parents. And the puppy I just got for them. :-(

My bedroom doesn’t look like the rooms at the Las Vegas hotel, but I’m trying to make it look as comfortable as I can so I’d feel warm and comfy being in it. Perhaps that way I could “forget” about being homesick for a while…

I’m still trying. :-(

Aww poor you. Am sure you’ll feel better as time passes by though. Allthough I must add I’m not a very big fan of windchimes though. They do produce “soothing” sounds yes, but that’s exactly why they give me the creeps too – especially during night time @_@.

ethel: My housemate says the same thing too. The sounds from windchime scares her. LOL!

I love windchime soooo much that I have 4 of them at home and the collection is adding up. Don’t be sad gurl, as time goes by you’ll be ok. Remember how sad u r when u r about to go home to KK?

ethel: 4 windchimes??! WoW!! That’s awesome! I can imagine how beautiful it sounds like in your home whenever the wind blows. Well.. I guess I’ll be fine in a while. :-) Thanks for dropping by, Quirin.

be sad when you’re sad and cry when you need to cry… it’s better to let it out than to pretend you’re ok.. just remember i have your back pretty lady! and you can have my shoulder to cry on! ;)

btw, i like your windchime! cantik!!

ethel: Thank you for being such a sweet friend, Syura. I’ll come look for you when I need that shoulder, ok? :B

Thank you for the compliment too. It’s a “Sabahan” windchime. Very homely looking too. LOL
