There was supposed to be a mini girlie gathering with my bestie, T last night. The fact that we haven’t had any gatherings for quite some time (and the last time I saw her was last year!) gave me the excitement of
i. seeing her again
ii. showing off the bambangan to her
And because she told me she’ll come around midnight (after fetching her friend at the airport, that is) I took some time to clean the empty bedroom in my place and made the bed for her. I dust the room, mop the floor, scrubbed the walls of the attached bathroom, filled the bathroom with new amenities, made sure the air-conditioner works fine.. I even left some scented candles on the bedside table to make the room smell nice.
Few hours gone after midnight and there wasn’t any sign of her. By 4AM, I got tired of waiting. 6AM I texted her. No reply. I went to bed disappointed.. She texted me at 10:08AM explaining that she “fell asleep” and would like to postpone the gathering to some other time.
Heh. I feel like a jilted lover. lol. (Maybe I should just spend the day browsing for beautiful photos and make use of the Shutterfly coupons..)
The next time she plan to come over, she can sleep on the mat! >:(

This is one of the things about some people : If they cannot make an appointment they don’t bother to call/sms and let you know it is off. They assumed you will understand. If I were you I will let her have a piece of my mind.
ethel: I agree. If a person couldn’t call, they should at least just send a text msg.. =/
Well I wanted to give her a piece of my mind.. but I didn’t want to have an argument with me. So far, I’m just giving her the silent treatment. *hee*

Alalaa.. after all that effort, Not only does she owe you a bottle of Bailey’s.. She owes you a whole week of mopping, sweeping, scrubbing bathroom walls and then some!
