I have this wart on my left foot.
Stupid wart. I cringe in pain whenever I walk. I blame the wart for my falling off the ladder last week while fixing my new curtain. You see, I’m not normally a whiny person but this one hurts big time! I had to basically place my foot on a soft pillow (or sandals) whenever I stand/walk.
And you think I was gonna show YOU my wart?
I decided to put an end to my sufferings today by Yahoo’ing (I don’t really Google) the word “wart” – because if you need to treat a wart, you need to know what KIND of wart you’re having first. After hours minutes of comparing photos of fugly warts and reviews, I’m pretty confident that mine came from the family of Plantar Wart.
“Plantar warts usually are rough and spongy, and most are gray, brown, or yellow with dark pinpoints (tiny capillaries that supply blood to the wart). Scraping a wart may cause it to bleed.”
Gawd, I have that tiny dark pinpoint right in the middle of the wart. That means this sucker is living off my blood! Bloody hell. No wonder I’m anemic. At first I thought it was a splinter, I tried picking it out with a clipper. I almost died from the pain. And then there’s this stupid thickened skin. Scrubbing it with a pumice works, but the pain is still there. Anyway, my point is: I have a wart. Damnit, I have it! And I’m not gonna see the cute doctor just yet. I mean, come on. Showing off your wart to a cute doctor?! I’d rather see him when I catch the cold or something, because my voice sounds sexy when I’m having the flu. lol.
The website also mentioned that you CAN treat the wart yourself. Yay! So at the moment, I’m treating the wart with Salicylic Acid. According to the prescription, it’s gonna take a few weeks before the wart would finally come off. *sigh* This better work or I’ll be showing off my wart-infested foot to that cute doctor! ¬¬
I shall continue reading all about medical stuff. Probably read on the portable oxygen concentrator too. It kinda sound cool!

i dunno how the pain like cos i never have one before but when Yahoo’ing (like u did) the image of wart…whoaaa….it can look so nasty kan?

I used to have one for loooooooooong time! I removed it thanks to an burning method but, months later, it showed up again.
After some kind of “freezing” new method, I finally disappeared and my feet is normal back again! hehe
ethel: Oh yeah, I’ve read about the freezing method. Sounds like fun! But I’ll wait and see how it turns out with this acid thingy. If it doesn’t work, I’ll opt for the freezing part. hehe

anyway, if not the cute doctor, may be you have see the old and ugly one in other clinic
just be very careful when you try to self medicate.

I heard the cute doctor only works on weekend while on the weekdays, his “old” brother would take over. If I really need to see one, I’ll probably go on the weekday. LOL

LOL. I actually looked at the photo for 10 seconds trying to find the wart! Sounds painful- get that fixed!
