Today marks the last day of my mommy’s working day at the office. *hee*
SELAMAT PENCEN MOMMY!
I text her today, asking if she’s sad. She replied NO. LOL! I know she can’t wait to go menyiud sana sungai tu. Muahahah!
Hmm.. if I have the money, I’d take her to a San Diego restaurant for a nice meal, and then later take her out shopping and have a girly-girly time off (that means nail painting, hair wash at the salon etc) but since I’m over here (and she’s over there) – and not to mention I cannot afford to take her to a posh restaurant overseas, those would be out of the question.. Well maybe I should draw something for her to celebrate this day, but that would also come later la. Hehehehe. I’m in major need to take a nap right now. I’m super exhausted!
PS: Perhaps I’ll just email her some links to my favorite online shopping place. She might like them too and end up buying stuff online – like me! LOL

LOL! pigi menyiud lagi tu. Pigi menyiud siput sungai kah that.
One of my lecturer used to tell us that, once she retired, she wants to go jual2 at the Tamu Donggongon, monginggat and gossip2 with the other folks in town.
I hope the decision to shift the retirement age from 56 to 60 is just an option. Doii,,,punya lama mo retire tu!

My mom has this “weird” hobby. She loves fishing or menyiud. Collect them fishes in a pail, play around with them for a bit then return it back into the river!

my MIL retired recently too. Dia keboringan juga tapi nasib ada tu kabun mau jaga.. LOL
Wow, syoknya ada kabun mo jaga. We have kabun kelapa sawit, but I doubt my mom would wanna go there and do stuff! LOL

Menyiud is er… like memancing, but you have those basket-like stuff to catch the fish. *hee*
Oh, my dad was supposed to retire too but the company where he works couldn’t let go off him. They pleaded him to continue working for a little longer.. haha.

Selamat Pecen mama Cindy! My dad retired also at the end of last year and he was pretty restless at first. I guess it’s a big transition and needs a bit of adjusting to, especially if so lama also kerja. Hehehe
Ya la, I guess if you’re too used to working, you’ll definitely miss the work when you’ve retired. Hehe..
