I was hoping that drawing an illustration of me sleeping peacefully would help with my insomnea. But NOOOO.. I had to stay awake whole night, trying to recite the multiple tables. Hey, I’m no genius but reciting multiple table 8 and 9 helps me sleep! (especially when I couldn’t remember part of it.. Hahhahaha!!)

Not the heaviest of blog subjects but last night, I had this weird dream. Almost everyone I knew were in it! My mom, my dad, my brother, my cousin Cat, another cousin Alex, dad’s friend (I forgot his name), my late grandma .. even my ex was there!! The “story line” consists from me riding a bike with my mom, crashing my ex’s wedding party with my brother and cousins (hey, I will NEVER do that ok?), ghost story telling with my late grandmama and swimming at the beach with my family… That was too much of a “story” for one night. Really.
Anyway, I woke up feeling exhausted but mighty GLAD to have put an end to it.
Next time, I’ll wash my feet before going to bed.

Yeah.. I hate it when that happens! This past week I have trouble STAYING asleep. I sleep around 1am, then wake up around 3am and then just stay awake until my sister goes to school.
And I just can’t stand dreams that make u feel exhausted. Why ah?? Our souls go jalan2 is it?? hahaha..
I think I read somewhere that when we sleep, our souls wander around. Eventually, they’ll find their way back to the body when they’re done. Hence, there was an old belief among the old people (Kadazan people I think?) that you shouldn’t sleep before the sunset.. because during the sunset, the soul would lost their way and couldn’t find a way back to the body. Eek!

Is it true with the feet washing thingy? I thought we should sweep our room clean, make extra sure there are no cobwebs hanging from the ceiling or something like that?
Anyways, LOVE that illustration of yours. Really colourful!
Oh I’ve never heard about that cobwebs thingy, but it sure is interesting to learn something new. No idea about the feet washing, but I’ve heard about it all these time.

dui gia.. try staying away from tv or computers an hour before you’re suppose to o-oi?
i read this in a mag (dunno pula if it works or not)
Really?? Wow.. that could be the main cause of my insomnea. I spend way too much time on computers before going to bed.
Feel like saying something? Say lah.. :P
