Desperate House’wife’

Watched Desperate Housewives on the Internet yesterday. I’m not a cry-baby type of person, but when it comes to touchy-touchy scene..I tend to cry. A LOT.

It was on the part when Susan desperately tried to lift her son’s spirit after the death of her husband, Mike. Her son, MJ refused to join the soapbox derby because it was for father and son only. The moment he said that, I started to tear. And when Susan put up a strong, happy face saying that she could build a car with MJ, I cried even harder. Why? Why must they kill Mike? Why……….??? And thank goodness it was building a car, not steel building garage!

But still, it was a very sad scene to watch..

Also I hate the fact that Desperate Housewives is already nearing to the end. Only a few episodes left before we bid goodbye to Bree, Susan, Lynette and my most favorite one.. Gabby. It’s such a great show that I couldn’t image what life would be without them… *sigh*

I guess life goes on….

Sweaty night

Phew, I sweated A LOT today! (wanted to use the term ‘sweat like a pig’.. but I think it wouldn’t be fair to the pigs. And besides, I don’t know whether or not a pig sweats???) Spent a few minutes on the threadmill. And then I did some weight lifting and stuff. I also managed to do a little bit of Yoga. Ha ha! Good for stretches bah.

I suggested to Jaya that he should consider joining Zumba – just for the fun of it, since he loves listening to fast music lately.

“Ishh.. perempuan saja bah buat tu!”

Honestly? I think he’s just shy. :-P So maybe I should just get him a zumba playstation and see if he’ll do it on his own (or when I’m not at home watching). LOL

But personally? I think I still prefer Yoga over Zumba. :-)

Where’s my package?

I’m still waiting for 4 of my packages that’s supposed to have arrived not long ago. Or at least about to arrive soon lah! I don’t know where they are. The tracking number doesn’t seem to work, because when I clicked on it (or for it), it just came out as blank. Apaini?? US Postal and Korean postal tracking doesn’t work kah?? It’s not that I don’t trust the postman, I don’t trust MOST of them postal workers! I once received a box of goodies from my dear friend in Sweden. Upon inspection, I found that a box of candy is missing out of the many things inside. I know, because my friend listed the things she sent on a paper that she included inside. Grrrrrr! Gula-gula pun mau curi oh.

But at least I know the postman of Pos Malaysia know their way to my apartment. Unlike those stupid courier services in KK. At least 2 courier services in KK couldn’t find my place and they were quite… stupid I must say. How can you work as a delivery boy with a courier service company if you couldn’t find a certain address? And worse, they don’t even know where Donggongon is when I asked them to wait there so I could pick up my package! Heck, even the truck drivers have gps for truckers. Well most of them. Can’t these courier service people get one too?? And this other courier service guy, he doesn’t even have a pen when I picked my package. Imagine having to walk ALL the way up to 4th floor just to take a pen because the stupid guy DID NOT HAVE A PEN?!!

Anyway, I just hope my package arrive soon. Can’t wait!

My cousin has been trying to get me into this ‘slimming service’ of hers. First she wanted me to buy this ‘slimming drinks (consisted of tea and meal replacement milk). Next, she’ll take me running up the hills of Bukit Padang (or was it Tun Fuad Park??). Then she’ll make me sign up for gym membership.

“4 bulan saja, fuuuuuuuuh.. ancam-mengancam body kau tu!”

Thing is, she lost me at the word ‘jog’. I can’t jog! I’ve tried that! I almost died! It felt like everything inside of me is trying to jump out of my mouth, eyes and ears! Those parents who has babies with Baby Jogger City Elite can run faster than me!

To begin with, I am NOT that fat lah. Maybe water retention saja banyak. But yeah.. I need to lose weight.

For starters, I’ve bought Jillian Michael’s workout DVD. The original one. Am not a pirate to download the whole thing from Internet like some people…

OK, I lied. I couldn’t find the link for the downloads so I HAD to buy! :-P

And there’s something else. I can’t say yet but, I can say that I LOVE threadmill.

I’m gonna shrink soon. Watch me! *hee*

Malam yang hangat

My oh my, it’s really hot tonight. I think that Sabah, or rather, Kota Kinabalu is so much hotter than Kuala Lumpur. But how could that be?? Could it be because KK is so much closer to the sea? Or.. is it just the season for ‘musim panas’? Sometimes I don’t feel like wearing anything at home… but the reality is, there is someone else living with me in this house, so… going commando is out of the question. But not when I sleep… Hahahahaha!

Kidding.

We have this amazing thing called ‘air-conditioner’ at home. It does magic on a hot day, but it hurts the wallet as well. Sometimes I wish that we have 4 seasons over here then Spring would be my favorite season: and it is obvious to WHY I’d love Spring. Tulip. Yes, that one flower I couldn’t plant over here. I bought some tulip bulbs over the Internet once and the company that sells it even sent me a note that says, “Won’t grow in your climate but you could try planting in the refrigerator.” Yeah, very funny. And sometimes just chatting with my friend over the webcam and seeing the snow at the window behind her just makes me feel like.. it’s just unfair that we have summer all year long. We need to have winter too! Then I could go using those ActConferencing.com teleconferencing with my friend and show her how beautiful Malaysia too. He he he.

But of course, those are just wishful thinking. Looks like we Malaysians are stuck with our AC. Unless of course, if we move to Genting or Kundasang. *hee*

Tired lah

Mom and dad is still around, so the burden of cleaning and setting up the new apartment is shared amongst us.. he he. These few days, we have spent our time shopping for groceries, stuff for the apartment..and apartment cleaning. Oh boy, so much things to do..so little time. The wall painting is almost done tho. I can’t wait how it’ll turn out once everything’s done! The faster we get things done, the faster we can move over to the next plan: Christmas last minute shopping. Yay! Maybe there’ll be lots of best buy boxing day sales happening around. We should go out and check it out soon! But right now, I think it’s best I head to bed. I’m really, really tired from all the apartment thingy. Tomorrow we’re heading to Karamunsing to get the printer for Bunny. Courtesy of the company he worked for. :-P

So many things, so little time..

I have much in mind of things I’d like to do right now: sew my bedsheet, mop the floor, do the laundry, buy a new book.. but in the end, I just lay on the bed and rest. No thanks to that time of the month. Oh well, at least I get to spend time with Bunny watching Thor on DVD and then proceeded to a lovely dinner at this beautiful place where we sat under a garden gazebo.

..and Sunday is my only day off. *sigh* Am thinking of getting another job, something that will not require me to work on weekends, if possible. Ha ha! Maybe Busser Jobs will do? But I guess that would require me to work on weekends as well? Hmmm…

My broadband is too slow (and prolly stupid)

*sigh* I give up trying to upload photos on my blog. It takes AGES to upload just 1 single picture! Is it my broadband or is it something else? I don’t know. One thing for sure: am not gonna upload any photos until I get another faster broadband – and that can only happen when I moved to another new place. Ha ha! Am not gonna get Unifi installed now, since we’re moving again soon. The hassle of getting someone to fix the line is like… gahhhhhh! Cukup lah the hassle of getting the air-cond fixed and unfixed and then fixed again. Penat, siot! Oh yeah, so many things to settle now. My insurance pun belum settle-settle lagi. And did someone mentioned “immediate annuity calculator” to me recently? Whatever that is, I know I’m gonna be needing it soon? Someday?

Now where’s that guy my brother promised to give me a call regarding the insurance thingy…… ?

Pink here and there

Bunny has been talking about his plan on getting a new Mac Book. “Look at how slim it is”, he said. Of course, I would love to get my hands on one – only if they come in pink. Ha ha! To be honest, sometimes, I don’t care how fast or how big a storage the laptop computer has, the one most important thing to me would have to be the look – or color. Muahahahaha! Hence, why I’m in love with Dell’s colors. They are so beautiful… and pink! And if I couldn’t afford to get a brand new one, I don’t mind going for refurbished laptop computers, for as long as they are still in good condition..and pink. :-P

Gawd, I hate packing. And moving. And unpacking again. So tiring!

My bedroom is so in a mess right now. Boxes, paper bags and plastic bags all over. It’s so hard to move around with all these things around, most of the time, it’s getting into my nerve that I feel like screaming! I hate packing bah!!!

But the good thing is, the house is quite pretty. Not quite the one I expected (coz the one I so wanted is taken! Grrr) But ok, I will try my best to make this new place a beauty. And if we found another nicer home, we can always shift again. Ha ha! Maybe even get a hostess stand this time to display at the new place. *hee*

OK, gotta get back to the packing and moving stuff. *sigh*
