Tired lah

Mom and dad is still around, so the burden of cleaning and setting up the new apartment is shared amongst us.. he he. These few days, we have spent our time shopping for groceries, stuff for the apartment..and apartment cleaning. Oh boy, so much things to do..so little time. The wall painting is almost done tho. I can’t wait how it’ll turn out once everything’s done! The faster we get things done, the faster we can move over to the next plan: Christmas last minute shopping. Yay! Maybe there’ll be lots of best buy boxing day sales happening around. We should go out and check it out soon! But right now, I think it’s best I head to bed. I’m really, really tired from all the apartment thingy. Tomorrow we’re heading to Karamunsing to get the printer for Bunny. Courtesy of the company he worked for. :-P

I have much in mind of things I’d like to do right now: sew my bedsheet, mop the floor, do the laundry, buy a new book.. but in the end, I just lay on the bed and rest. No thanks to that time of the month. Oh well, at least I get to spend time with Bunny watching Thor on DVD and then proceeded to a lovely dinner at this beautiful place where we sat under a garden gazebo.

..and Sunday is my only day off. *sigh* Am thinking of getting another job, something that will not require me to work on weekends, if possible. Ha ha! Maybe Busser Jobs will do? But I guess that would require me to work on weekends as well? Hmmm…

My broadband is too slow (and prolly stupid)

*sigh* I give up trying to upload photos on my blog. It takes AGES to upload just 1 single picture! Is it my broadband or is it something else? I don’t know. One thing for sure: am not gonna upload any photos until I get another faster broadband – and that can only happen when I moved to another new place. Ha ha! Am not gonna get Unifi installed now, since we’re moving again soon. The hassle of getting someone to fix the line is like… gahhhhhh! Cukup lah the hassle of getting the air-cond fixed and unfixed and then fixed again. Penat, siot! Oh yeah, so many things to settle now. My insurance pun belum settle-settle lagi. And did someone mentioned “immediate annuity calculator” to me recently? Whatever that is, I know I’m gonna be needing it soon? Someday?

Now where’s that guy my brother promised to give me a call regarding the insurance thingy…… ?

Pink here and there

Bunny has been talking about his plan on getting a new Mac Book. “Look at how slim it is”, he said. Of course, I would love to get my hands on one – only if they come in pink. Ha ha! To be honest, sometimes, I don’t care how fast or how big a storage the laptop computer has, the one most important thing to me would have to be the look – or color. Muahahahaha! Hence, why I’m in love with Dell’s colors. They are so beautiful… and pink! And if I couldn’t afford to get a brand new one, I don’t mind going for refurbished laptop computers, for as long as they are still in good condition..and pink. :-P

Gawd, I hate packing. And moving. And unpacking again. So tiring!

My bedroom is so in a mess right now. Boxes, paper bags and plastic bags all over. It’s so hard to move around with all these things around, most of the time, it’s getting into my nerve that I feel like screaming! I hate packing bah!!!

But the good thing is, the house is quite pretty. Not quite the one I expected (coz the one I so wanted is taken! Grrr) But ok, I will try my best to make this new place a beauty. And if we found another nicer home, we can always shift again. Ha ha! Maybe even get a hostess stand this time to display at the new place. *hee*

OK, gotta get back to the packing and moving stuff. *sigh*

Gemuk kah aku?

I was at Port Dickson last weekend to celebrate Bunny’s birthday, together with a bunch of our friends. We took a mini road trip as early as 3 in the morning. Everyone had very little sleep the day before, so this morning trip was quite an exhausting one. But everyone was happy!

Port Dickson was.. ok. The beach aren’t as beautiful as Sabah (or rather, Kudat’s beach). Also, it reeks the smell of mud. Unlike the beaches in Sabah which as blue and smells of the ocean. So yeah, I didn’t swim in the beach… I was at the hotel’s pool. Ha ha! Which was so much fun! I laughed like nobody’s business when everyone started to play this game.. (I don’t know what it’s called, but they called it ‘monyet’?) We picked a person to be in the middle of the circle and those in the circles would throw a ball to pass it to one another, trying to avoid the monyet in the middle. LOL, it was sooo funny!

…Also, my cousin who came along for the trip made a remark about me.

“Kau ni kan, kulit putih. Muka pun sudah cantik, tapi tu badan saja bah…”

Uwaaaaaaaaaa… maybe I should take some diet pills lah.. tho I’m a firm believer of exercising instead of taking pills.

New place (soon)!

I think we’ve found a nice place to stay – but it’s not our yet. We only found a place, so that means, we know where we want to stay! :-P I won’t say where, but it’s a very nice place. Clean surrounding, safe environment ..and it comes with a very nice pool too!

I’m already planning to paint the bedroom pink. Ha ha! Yes, pink. Maybe a baby pink lah… then of course some brand new curtains to match the walls. Ooooo.. cannot wait! Maybe even get a undermount stainless sinks for the bathroom. Oh, speaking of bathroom.. maybe a baby purple colored bathroom wall too. LOL

I’m keeping my fingers crossed that we can get a house at that place. :-)

Bunny’s birthday coming up real soon. I do not know what to get him. What do you get for a man on his birthday? Of course I couldn’t buy him a Ferrari or something too expensive… as a mere mortal, perhaps I should get him something simple but practical? Something like an iPad maybe. Ha ha ha! But I’m afraid that if I get him an iPad, I might want to use it all for myself and letting him touch the thing at all. :-P

Oh well, perhaps I should sleep on it and think of a gift. If I still can’t think of any, I shall get help from those guys who does the personalized friend gifts online shop thingy. I’m sure they’ll have a few ideas.. because when it comes to getting a man a gift, I mati kutu.

I went for a jog!

Went for a jog early this morning with Bunny. It was a nice jog, cool weather (it rained the whole afternoon) and peaceful morning – very silent. Except on the part when a dog approached and barked at us and Bunny was so freakin’ scared! I was like, telling him to just walk and pretend nothing happen. Just don’t look him straight in the eye, I said. He insisted and pretended to pungut batu konon. The dog of course, barked louder! -_- Maybe next time I’ll take a stick along, just in case someone takut lagi. Or maybe get some point of care carts, just in case it gets worse. Ha ha ha!

Am thinking of getting a new job..a day job that is. There’s a job vacancy and it’s offer is something that I couldn’t resist. Thing is, it’s in Putrajaya: and that is like quite a distance from where I live right now. A friend suggested me to get a car. A car? In KL? No thanks. I’d rather take the cab. Buying a car in KL is the last thing I want to do… Getting rv loans is also not a thing that I had ever planned for myself.

So what shall be done? Should I get the job? Should I move (again)?

I am still trying to find the bright side from both sides. LoL
