I just woke up from a good 3 hours of nap. I guess we partied too hard last night, but hey, that’s the Christmas spirit us Sabahans have. We eat, drink and be merry – until the security came over to stop us. LOL. But at the end of the day, EVERYONE had great time. So got overly drunk and started acting/saying stuff they shouldn’t, some throw up on the sink and not remembering any part of it the next morning..while some stayed up till the sun rises in the morning!

I must say, it’s gathering like this that creates and makes good friends amongst people – it surely beats the feeling of getting Bioidentical hormone therapy austin for those who needed it. Ha ha!

That said, I have a pile of dishes and stuff to be cleaned from last night’s party. We brought mix veggies, moist chocolate cake and ice-creams. Yum!

PS: My eyes are all black and dark from yesterday’s mascara and eye pencil. I look like a zombie..

Saturday Night Life

Met up with my cousin who just recently got back from Vietnam last night for dinner. My brother, Bunny, myself and a couple of friends went to this steamboat restaurant at Sunway for the purpose. Food was great! I ate way too much that I think I will gain a few pounds from that…

We wanted to hop to a bar after dinner, but everyone thought that everyone was slightly under-dressed, except for this one friend. LOL. But was there such thing as overshoes? Whatever it is, we all end up drinking beer at some local Chinese shop. Ha ha!

Bunny will be doing the opening act for Slash’s 2010 Concert!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We just got back from Sunway Resort Hotel for the Press Conference. Jaya has been given the honor to show his guitar skills in front of the press. Everyone had fun with some media people cheering and screaming when he played “Sweet Child of Mine”! Fireflyz’s rep had also announced to the media that Jaya Sapetar will be doing the opening act for Slash on his upcoming KL concert on August 5th. :-)

Bah, apa lagi? Datanglah beramai-ramai! Come see Slash live in person, on stage! Concert will be held at Sunway Lagoon. Come sing along with the crowds or dance to burn off the calories (without using any weight loss diet..hehe) and just have fun!

Now that the long holidays have finally hit Malaysia, most city dwellers have been going out of the city to a more relaxing place – my brother, in this case, he went to Tioman with his friends. As for my Bunny and I, we’ll be heading to Miri for Gawai early tomorrow morning.

We haven’t even started packing yet, nor did we completed our shopping list of things to buy for Gawai celebration. Can you imagine the rush? I was so worried, age spots started to appear on my face!

Well I guess my brother was rushing yesterday too, because I think he brought the key to the balcony door – because it’s missing and I couldn’t find it anywhere at home!

Some of the clothes hanging outside on the balcony were clothes that we wanted to take with us to Sarawak – especially them jeans and my inner clothes!

Well ..looks like we’re gonna have to be creative in getting the clothes. We might have to use a pole to pull them back to the door and kasi masuk through the lubang. Aww..

I just received 2 emails from new clients regarding blog designs for their blogs respectively. My heart was jumping in joy – because this means I could get the new cupboard from IKEA without having to use my savings or gaji this month. YAY!!!

And then this morning, my boss dropped this papers on my desk – more assignments and task to do! OHMAI.. pengsan lah saya. I think I need to get those life insurance quotes lah soon.. Thank goodness I finally completed my job for my family blog. Got time, come lah visit it. :-P

Fun Cooking Night

Despite having fever, Bunny and I managed to drive all the way up to my brother’s place yesterday evening. We had another round of “main masak-masak” session – and as usual, the ladies became the assistant while Bunny became the head chef. So much fun! We had so much food that not even Avesil could help burn off the access fats we consumed. But who cares about diet, calories and all when you’re having so much fun with your family, right?

I was heading for home after breakfast when I heard him shouted, “Look at that dog!!”
I turned my head and saw a dog chained across the front gate.

“OH MY GAWD, it looks like GIRLY!”

“Sebijik macam si Girly!!!”

Take a look and you’ll agree with me. Especially YOU, mummy.
(if you’re reading this post lah. ha ha)

Betul kan? Looked EXACTLY like Girly. Even have the same face and hair color like Girly’s. (only Girly a bit slimmer. lol)

The owner of the dog’s having some renovation at his front lawn so they tied that poor dog under a tree in front of their house. I went to say hi to Girly but it turns out to be quite hostile. It’s not even a Girly.. it’s a Boboi!!! lol

I couldn’t get my eyes off Boboi so I went up to my room, go to the balcony, grab my tele lens and took a few shots of him.

Oh how I miss Girly so much… I can’t wait to see her again this Christmas. In fact, I already made a list of gifts to consider for her: one being a comfortable bed. Maybe I’ll check out those pet beds at the pet shop near my place this weekend. By luck, they might have a cute pink bed suitable for Girly!

For My Sister, Didy

One early morning on this very day few years ago, my brother and I were waiting for our dad to fetch us to school. He was at the hospital, spending the night with my mom who was on labor. By 6:30am, my dad arrived. My brother and were both excited to know about the news of our mom and the new sibling.

“So? So? What’s the news??”, we both asked.

“Dymphna!” came the reply.

So we got a sister!

Now, 21 years later, she is celebrating her “key of freedom” with her parents (our parents) and relatives at one of the famous restaurant in Kudat! hehehehe! Wish I could be there to join makan free.. because I’m starving right now! lol

To my sister Dymphna.. HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY!!!

Your gift will be delivered to you on Christmas Day ok? Hahahaha! And no, it’s not a spa filter. :-P

Fancy A Fancy Band-Aid?

About a couple of weeks ago, I accidentally got my finger cut by shattered glass. On the way to IKEA, I noticed that the band-aid on my finger looked rather dirty and worn out, so I text my brother (who was at the Curve then) to get me some from the pharmacy. We were having one of our rare lunch together at IKEA (rare, coz eversince he got a job in a call center services company, susah betul mau jumpa dengan dia tu) when I gawked in surprise at the first sight of the band aid he got me.

“Wahhh… why so fancy one? Since when do we have striped band-aid? Tigery stripe lagi tu.. macam Datin-Datin!”

“Err.. actually we have fancy band-aid for quite some time already. There’s other patterns too..”

“But Tiger stripes on my finger? Ishh.. bidanya!”

“OK wat..”

At this point, even Bunny agreed with my brother while he wrapped the band-aid around my finger.

How come I’ve never seen one? All I have at home was the traditional band-aid.

…….

And nak dijadikan cerita, Bunny and I went to the pharmacy last Sunday to buy some handwash. And guess what?

I saw a collection of cute band-aids!! This was one of my favorite:

Where have I been all these while?? How can I not notice these cuties??!!

Now I can’t wait to have my fingers accidentally cut. I wanna wear those!!!!
